{date #3}

The Background story-- We met online....we have been messaging back in forth since right after Christmas. So I wasn't sure if he was gonna ever ask me out on a date. And we really didn't talk that much so I didn't know a whole lot about him, which I think I kinda like. It's nice to go on a first date and really learn all about them then. But he finally sent a message saying he was really busy but if we could grab coffee sometime this week. So we sent it up for Saturday afternoon. Its funny because I use to always do first date coffee dates, but its been while since I have had one...

The Guy--
Age: 29
Job: Sales and his own company remolding houses
What he wore: When he walked in he was wearing a nice coat and scarf. And then after taking that off he was wearing a nice sweater and okay jeans, and then he was wearing like nee hiking boots, which didn't go with the rest, and really it didn't even bother me, which was weird. But then funny story towards more the end of the date he was like, so my boots, hes like I normally don't wear these out, hes like I normally am wearing real shoes, but I just got these and with my hiking trip coming up I need to break them in. Hes like I swear I have normal shoes. It made me laugh!

The Date: So I again wasn't all that excited about this date! I was really tired right before going because my lil bro had spent the night with me the night before and all morning with me, so I was busy busy. And then there was the outfit mess, most of the clothes I love were in the dryer, and its cold outside, and its just a coffee date so I didn't even feel cute with what I was wearing. But I went with it. He also gets points because he picked a local coffee place, and I LOVE Starbucks but its really not good for a first date because they are normally really busy. So this local place was great, and there was no one there. So we ordered coffee, just plain, and its funny because he said hes not much of a coffee drinker, and he puts milk and sugar in his coffee, where I am just a milk and coffee girl. But then we sat dawn and just got right into talking, and talked non stop for the next 2 hours. It was just one of those really nice times where we both had so much to talk about with each other, and he respond back to what I was talking about and I was able to relate somewhat to his stuff and understand what he was talking about. It went by really last. We talked a lot about family and work. He also has become a big traveler, and so he told me about trips and trips coming up.  We both come from big families where growing up we didn't have a lot. I know that some day he wants to settle down and have a family. He also use to go to crossroads. So that's always a fun connection.. we just really talked talked talked, and laughed and had fun. But like I said it went by so quick that the lady working there had to tell us it was almost closing time, we had been there for 2 hours. So we walked out and hugged good bye. And went out ways... so far I haven't heard from him, but he did say life was really busy and he wasn't much of a texter....

Five things I learned about him--
1. His hobby has been remolding houses to flip. (ummm total dream to have a guy like that)
2. He likes to travel and making 2012 a year of traveling.
3. He has a big family.
4. He would rather have a happy great life then be rich.
5. He likes playing sports but not watching (score!)

Memorable Conversation--
The story about his boots....go read it!

The Verdict--
I hope there will be a second date. I had a lot of fun just sitting drinking coffee with him so I know that anything else would be fun. I really don't know what he is looking for right now, so we will see what happens. But yes I would for sure go on a another date with him... Oh and if you haven't already like me on Facebook and I will keep you update with all that goes on. Like if he calls or text for a 2nd date!
